SOLO is the original designer of the Mk4 & Mk4a Osprey carrier and has 3 patents. Designed for the MOD, this consists of a full 360 degree modular armour carrier capable of holding 2 x large front and rear plates, 2 x side plates and front and rear soft armour inserts and has the load carrying capacity to hold pouches front, sides and rear. Wrap around removable cummerbunds for additional strength to hold side plates and for assisting opening and closure. This was voted by Military Soldier Technology as the best load carriage system in the world 2012.
